RESULTS OF ANTIOXIDANT ENZYMES OF ORAL LIQUID PERIODONTAL PATHOLOGY AND CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE WITH NORMAL AND IMPAIRED CARBOHYDRATE METABOLISM

The studies of oral fluid with combined periodontal disease and coronary artery disease with normal and impaired carbohydrate metabolism revealed irregularities in the level of antioxidant enzyme system of the oral cavity , manifested by decreased activity of glutathione reductase , glutathione peroxidase , catalase , superoxide dismutase , which had a significant inverse correlations with performance clinical periodontal status ( from -0.89 to -0,99, p <0,05), which allows the use of oral fluid to determine the capacity of the antioxidant defense system at the local level as well as in assessing the risk of complications in cardiovascular pathology noninvasive laboratory methods that allow for timely correction of therapeutic measures and increase the efficiency of monitoring indicators of metabolic diseases of the cardiovascular system.
