Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is an independent predictor of unfavorable cardiovascular events and terminal renal insufficiency. The aim of the study was to investigate the occurrence and structure of CKD in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods. 118 patients with SLE (ACR criteria, 1982) were involved in the study, mean age 41,32±13, male - 34±2,64. Levels of serum creatinine and daily proteinuria were measured. Urinalisis, Nechiporenko’s test, kidney ultrasound examination were performed. Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) was calculated by the MDRD formula. CKD was established based on the recommendations K/DOQI (2003). Results. CKD was revealed in (83%) of the patients, in 50% of them was shown the 2d stage of CKD. GFR was interrelated with the convectional cardiovascular risk factors (age, serum cholesterol’s level, duration of the arterial hypertension, body mass index). Conclusion. In 83% patients with SLE the CKD was found. Glomerular filtration was associated with the convectional cardiovascular risk factors. Presence of CKD has to be taken into account in determining of cardiovascular risk in SLE patients.
