CONDITION AND PROSPECTS OF DENTAL SCHOOL

Dental school is the most convenient and promising direction in the prevention of dental disease in children of primary school age. Closure of the school dental clinics in most cities define Russia crisis of this service. Meanwhile, overseas, modernization and development of the school of dentistry demonstrates excellent results in improving child health. The legal basis of Russia says that early detection of risk factors for oral diseases, their prevention and medical care to children with dental caries should be done in dental offices preschool and educational institutions. The results of this study demonstrate that, in practice, school dental clinics are closing rapidly , despite the fact that the heads of educational institutions generally understand the importance of dental care for children in school. Need to make an emergency search in deciding whether to restore the service and its modernization at the national level.
