The authors analyzed 152 patients with postoperative ventral hernias. The hernias were removed with different methods of combined allohernia plastic interventions. Six significant factors were determined. The above factors influenced frequency of development of postoperative complications of injuries. A way of prognosis of their development was worked out. Three factors belong to uncontrolled factors (duration of hernia, width of hernial ring, area of use of endoprosthesis). Three factors belong to the category of controlled factors (type of endoprosthesis, way of plastic interventions, rate ofresorptive activity of the method). The rate of resorptive activity is ratio of the area of «naked» muscles, that have obvious resorptive qualities, and total area of injured surface. The developed way of prognosis allows surgeons to influence the controlled factors. Adequate choice of the type of prosthesis and method of plastic interventions, that increases the rate of resorptive activity, decrease the risk of development of complications of injuries.
