We have done the study of the L-carnitine influence on the energy-providing processes in the rat’s liver in case of acute paracetamol poisoning during food deprivation. It was found that in experimental acute paracetamol poisoning in case of food deprivation occurs inhibition of hepatocyte energy processes, which is characterize by reduction in liver tissue of rats succinate dehydrogenase on 59,3 %, cytochromoxidase activity on 46,6 % (р<0,001) and increasing H+ATPase activity on 112,7 %. At the same time, the use of L-carnitine is accompanied by a partial restoration process of microsomal oxidation and energy supplying activity, upgrading of plasma and subcellular membranes of hepatocytes. Thus, before the end of the experiment in the liver cytochrome oxidase activity in white rats was 156% (p <0,001) compared to the group of animals affected PA against food deprivation.
