EXPERIENCE OF STABLE OSTEOSINTHESYS OF THE FIRST METATARSAL BONE IN CASES OF THE FOOT FIRST RAY SURGERIES (DEDICATED TO 101ST ANNIVERSARY OF ALBRECHT’S SURGERY)

The research of results of an osteosynthesis of the 1st metatarsal by LCP plate with four screws after osteotomy of this bone for treatment of hallux valgus deformity was a research objective. This article concerns the performance of the proximal osteotomies of the 1st metatarsal bone were performed in 19 cases of the combined platypodia, hallux valgus, metatarsus primus varus of the severe degree. The analysis of advantages and indications to this kinds of surgeries is carried out. Application of LCP plates provides early activization of patients in the postoperative period and allows to achieve bone consolidation after 27 days.
