Objective: to study the dynamics of some of the parameters of homeostasis in patients with multiple organ dysfunction, including liver damage, using membrane efferent methods - hemodiafiltration and molecular adsorption-recirculation system. Subjects and methods: 183 patients with acute renal-hepatic failure. As a complex of intensive therapy, all the patients were treated with extracorporeal techniques: HDF therapy in Group 1 (n=121) and MARS in Group 2 (n=62). The patients’ age was 18 to 67 years. Results and discussion. The albumin dialysis exceeds hemodiafiltration elimination of bilirubin, the average molecular weight substances and to normalize homeostasis in patients with very severe liver disease. The use of MARS therapy in patients with multiple organ failure, including hepatic failure, can significantly improve the outlook and reduce the length of stay in the intensive care unit.
