ASSESSMENT OF THE CONDITION OF PERIODONTAL ON THE BACKGROUND OF APPLICATION OF VITAMIN E IN THE COMPLEX OF THERAPEUTIC MEASURES IN GENERALIZED PERIODONTITIS

The study underscores the importance of the objective evaluation of inflammatory process in periodontal tissues on the background of traditional, as well as the application of complex pathogenetic approach in the schemes of medical measures of chronic generalized periodontitis moderate severity. Chronic generalized periodontitis remains the most severe and widespread pathology of parodont. With the progress of civilization, the prevalence of periodontal disease has risen sharply. Up to 80% of the population (25 years and older) has a change of periodontal tissues, based on a single pathological process - inflammation and degeneration of fabrics of parodont. Lack of effectiveness of local dental treatment testifies to the topicality of this problem going beyond dentistry, and has no medical value. On the basis of this justified the treatment of this disease with the use of antioxidant vitamin E in the complex of medical exposure.
