Сomplex therapy of children treated for the exacerbation of chronic pyelonephritis associated with the dismetabolic disturbances was supplemented by the “Kluchy” mineral water. E.Coli was identified to be the main etiological agent of pyelonephritis (50% of cases). 80% of children were found to have oxaluria in the urinary sediment, 6.7% had uraturia and 13.3% had mixed cristalluria. Increased concentration of uric acid in blood sera was revealed in 30% of children and 6.7% had an insignificant increase of blood sera calcium. Daily urine showed hyperuricosuria in 20% of children, hyperoxaluria in 93.3%, hypercalciluria in 20% while 86.7% of children had a reduced magnesium excretion. One month after the received complex therapy supplemented by the “Kluchy” mineral water the urinary syndrome was characterized only by oxalate cristalluria in 35% of children, uraturia in 5%, mixed cristalluria in 5%. There was a statistically significant reduction of the blood serum uric acid levels. Insignificant hypercalciluria in daily urine test persisted in 70% of cases.
