OUR EXPERIENCE OF NEOADYUVANT CHEMO-BEAM THERAPY IN PANCREATIC CANCER TREATMENT

20 patients were operated with the use of modified chemo-beam therapy method in 2010-2012 in Rostov Scientific and Research Oncological Institute. The average age was 60.3±0.5. Postoperative material was examined by means of flowcytometry, in order to analyze tumor cell cycle and cellular composition of tumor cells, also standard histological study was made for investigation of pathomorphosis in tumor. The amount of cells in S phase in main group of patients was 1.4 time higher, the in control group and was equal to 6.6 ±0.4%, in cjntrol group that index was 9.1±0.4%. The decrease of mitotic index of proliferation was observed. during the examination of tumor cells by the method of fluorescence microscopy. Tumor pathomorphosis was characterized by signs of apoptosis tumor cells, areas of fibrosis, myxomatosis. Median survival was 19.5 months.
