APPLICATION OF TAURINE OF TREATMENT OF HEPATIC DRUG AFFECTION FEATURES OF TBC PATIENTS WHO RECEIVE SPECIFIC THERAPY

Frequent development of drug-induced hepatitis in the background of specific therapy for tuberculosis requires enhanced methods and means of protecting the liver. This work investigates hepatoprotective antioxidant activity of taurine in patients with newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis. The study excluded patients with viral hepatitis and alcohol abuse. Only for appropriate security controls of chemotherapy determination of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase is needed since other “routine” data are less informative. Drug liver damage was found in 68 % of patients treated with specific chemotherapy. The paper assesses the dynamics of biochemical indicators of the development of hepatic cytolytic syndrome. The authors proved that the optimal concurrent with specific therapy beginning hepatoprotective activities. For the prevention of drug liver recommended the appointment of standard-dose antioxidants (such as taurine) or hepatic, but the most effective are their combination. For the treatment of liver disease requiresa combination of antioxidant with hepatoprotector.
