PREDICTION OF OUTCOME OF ACCUTE CORONARY SYNDROME

An analysis of scientific material from periodicals and monographs on the prediction of early and late outcome in patients with acute coronary syndrome has been provided. Advantages and drawbacks of the most popular prognostic systems used in cardiology practice have been demonstrated. Many predictive systems are very difficult, demand the accounting of a large number of factors, sharply reduces number of users these rules. The need for a novel risk-scoring tool specific for Russia’s population has been emphasized. The authors consider that creation of the predictive systems based on data of the Russian registers of acute coronary syndrome is dictated by need of optimization of maintaining patients, a choice of technology of treatment.
