There was performed the analysis of the biochemical researches’ results of the cerebral cortex tissue at administration of exogenous glucocorticoid. In this study for the separation of populations on the phenotypic groups of rats with ultraextensive metabolism and poor metabolism we assessed the level of microsomal oxidation by the time of «hexobarbital sleep». In the samples were determined the main options of lipid peroxidation (content of primary, secondary and final molecular products in heptane-isopropanol extracts of the material), the activity of MAO-A and MAO-B. In rats with ultraextensive metabolism exogenous glucocorticoid injection resulted in lower resistance to carbonyl stress, which manifests in a high content of Fe+2/Н2О2 induced carbonyl protein. In rats with poor metabolism the administration of exogenous glucocorticoids led to an activity increase of MAO-B, while increase levels of Fe+2/Н2О2 induced carbonyl proteins.
