The data analysisof the results of medical care (MC) in burn patients with complications of chronic gastroduodenal ulcers (GDU) found that, in contrast to acute erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal mucosa in burn victims, features of chronic GDU in these patients are: complicated course of peptic ulcer (PU) in people of working age with the preferential localization of ulcers in the duodenum, effacement of clinical manifestations of ulcer complications, difficulties in estimating of the results of medical tests, high rate of deaths. The results of MC in these cases can betechnologically improved by providing patients with complications of GDU with adequate anti-shock therapy, preventive anti-ulcer treatment, early enteral nutrition. Characteristics of the formation of laparotomic access, are important in prevention of wound festering in such patients.Stable hemostasis in burn patients with bleeding from chronic PU can be achieved usingthe intraluminal endosurgery. During surgical treatment of these patients we are to use minimally invasive organ-preserving surgery. Medical care in burn patients with complications of chronic PU should be provided in specialized units of multi-hospitals using economic standartization of diagnostic and treatment process.
