It were found strong direct linear correctional connections between the amount of extracted coal and the quantity of technogenic air pollution, on one hand, and between the quantity of anthropogenic pollutants and the incidence rate of lung cancer population in the Kemerovo region, on the other hand. At production of 260 million tons of coal in a year the quantity of polluting substances in the air can reach 2620.7 thousand tons and the incidence of lung cancer cases can increase to 59.6 on 100000 of population. To curb the growth of lung cancer population in the Kemerovo region at the level of 2010, the number of pollutant emissions should not exceed 1128.3 thousand tons per year.
