The comparative analysis of patients with recurrentvaricose veins of the legs (n = 43); without recurrence (n = 39) and healthy (n = 37) for connective tissue nonspecific dysplasia. In the group of patients with recurrent identified two subgroups: A – a true recurrence (for technical or tactical errors, n = 22), B – due to recurrence of disease progression (n = 21). In the primary treatment of patients used traditional surgical methods. The observation period after initial treatment was at least 5 years.Performed biochemical tests of serum uric acid, urea, amino nitrogen and total hydroxyproline. The marker of connective tissue nonspecific dysplasia total hydroxyproline in the serum of patients with recurrent varicose veins of the legswas higher than compared to the control group and the group of patients without recurrence soit use this biochemical index as a criterion predicting further development disease after treatment varicose veins of the legs.
