The purpose of the work is to study interrelations between psychological profile of senior age group patients (according to Cattel questionnaire), stress hormones level in blood and character of a background somatic pathology. Levels of catecholamines and corticosteroids depending on patient’s psychological status characteristics were analyzed in dynamics. These hormones determine an original form of patient’s stress reaction, promoting one or another somatic pathology development: neuroimmunoendocrine, cardiovascular, locomotive or metabolism ones. Depression as a reflection of stress hormones disbalance can be used as a marker of unfavorable course of circulatory pathology. High incidence of cardiovascular pathology and osteoporosis at patients having I and III psychological profile can be caused both by background increase of catecholamines level and its increase during stress situations.
