RENAL TYBULAR DYSFUNCTION AND CARDIOVASCULAR RISK FACTORS IN PATIENTS WITH SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSIS

According to the literature in 6–20 % of patients who died with systemic lupus erythematosis (SLE) death was caused by cardiovascular disease. The study involved 31 patients with systemic lupus erythematosis who were treated at the rheumatology department SHCI “Regional Hospital” from January to May 2012. Diagnosis was based on the diagnostic criteria of the American Rheumatic Association (1982). The study of tubular dysfunction and cardiovascular risk factors in this population of patients was conducted.In patients with systemic lupus erythematosisdiagnosed with tubular dysfunction, which is most pronounced in patients older age group, with a combination of systemic lupus erythematosis with arterialhypertension, dyslipidemia, and elevated body mass index.Interrelations between the tubular dysfunction in patients with systemic lupus erythematosis and classical cardiovascular risk factors were identified.
