SOME IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL FEATURES OF MALIGNANT FIBROUS

To under take this study we have examnined 15 primary and 12 reccurentmalignaut fibrous histiocytoma tumors with the immunohistochemicalanalisis. It was found out that primary and reccurent tumors were identical in diagnostic indicators such as desmin, vimeutin, smaoth muscle actin ebc. In contrast it was discovered that membrane and cytoplasmic expression of EGFR protein was increased twice in reccurent tumors in comparison with the primary ones. Extra development of newly formed thin-walled vessels was found out, and it correlated with hyperexpression of CD 34 in reccurent tumors. Amount of Ki 67 was bigger in primary MFH ( 20%) than in reccurent ones (4-5%). Therelapces of MFH and their bad prognosis could be caused byexpression of EGFR and CD 34.
