DENTITION TRAINING APPARATUS-A NEW APPROACH FOR IMPROVEMENT OF STOMATOLOGICAL STATUS

The spread of caries and inflammatory diseases of periodontium in the Russian Federation reaches 100%. Periodic carried out researches justify the absence of decreasing tendency. Evolutionally mechanic conditions of masticatory system vitality are specified by decrease of masticatory loads. The deficiency of occlusal load causes decrease of function not only masticatory apparatus but other structures of dentition, decreasing their resistibility to stomatological diseases. Decrease of occlusial loads influences the level of hygiene condition, which leads to distortion periodontium, trophism and aggravation of general stomatological diseases. Equipment for dentition training was invented and approved (on patent application №20121111063 from 22.03.2012). Index evaluation of caries sickness ratein 89 persons (men- 38, women-51) at the age of 35-44, divided into 2 groups: 1) general: (43 people) regularly used a toothbrush with dental prophylactic paste and also dentition training; 2) group of comparison (42 people)-used only toothbrushes with tooth paste. Duration of intervals between check-ups: in 1 week, 1 month, 6 months and 1 year. Growth of intensity of dental caries in people of general group consists 0,19±0.02, and of comparison group -0,26±0.03 (р1<0,05). At the same time reduction of dental caries growth consists 26,9%. Algorithm of action in dentition training was worked. Thus, the usage of dentition training apparatus in addition to a traditional toothbrush allows to improve the stomatological status.
