EVALUATION OF PATIENTS SATISFACTION WITH THE QUALITY OF TREATMENT IN A REGIONAL DERMATOVENEROLOGIC DISPENSARY

In order to assess patients subjective opinion about the quality of treatment in a regional dermatovenerologic dispensary, to identify the main reasons for dissatisfaction an anonymoussurvey of 129 pregnant women with syphilis orwith a diagnosis of syphilis infection in anamnesis wascarried out. All patients underwent specific or preventive treatment at the Leningrad regional dermatovenerologic dispensary. As a result of the survey it was found that after the end of treatment 43.8% of women were not fully satisfied or completely dissatisfied with the quality of the treatment and conditions of stay in the hospital. Patients rather highly assessed human and professional qualities of doctors and nurses, somewhat lower the work of aid-women, but patients were not satisfied with sanitary condition ofhospital units, especially toilets and bathrooms, bed linen, amount, taste and variety of food, walks ban. Doctors do not always inform patients about the course of examination and treatment.
