Numerous biological effects of amino acids in cells and tissues are connected with their quantitative and qualitative composition. This affects the functional activity of the cell, the properties of the biological membranes and may cause proper changes in the structural state of the biosystem water component. The main research task was to study the effects of glutamic and aspartic acids as well as their mixes on the structural state of the water in their test solutions. We used ddH2O, 1N glutamic and aspartic acids solutions as liquids under study. The test samples had been made in fused silica flasks shortly before spectrum taking after which infrared spectroscopy with spectral registration was performed. Based on the results obtained we’ve came to the conclusion that these amino acids variously affect the water component of their test solutions and in mixed solutions there are no changes in the amount of particles due to their interaction.
