THE EFFECT OF SURGERY ON QUALITY OF LIFE IN PATIENTS WITH THYROID PATHOLOGY

The study involved 412 patients with benign thyroid diseases (DZSCHZH). By the nature of the disease, patients are divided into three groups: 1 of th group included 265 patients with multi-node (DMZ) or nodular euthyroid goiter (RMD) in the second group – 71 patients with functional autonomy assembly (FA) and diffuse toxic goiter (DTG), a third group of 67 – patients with autoimmmunnym tireoiditom (AIT). Studied the quality of life of patients from SF-36 questionnaire and the specific New Jersey. As our research shows, there is a change in the quality of life and symptoms in patients with thyroid cancer. These changes are dependent on gender, age, social status and level of education and specific nosology. Surgical treatment results in improved quality of life and reduce the severity of symptoms, resulting in a questionnaire used by us can be used as a tool for assessment of patients and the effectiveness of the treatment.
