Recently there has been an increased incidence of chronic pyelonephritis, reducing the effectiveness of treatment and the increase in the frequency of adverse outcomes of the disease. In Russia, an increasing proportion of pyelonephritis in the major causes of chronic renal failure. The aim of this study was to examine the role of urologic pathology in reducing the effectiveness of the treatment of chronic pyelonephritis. A study of 390 medical records of 162 patients and questionnaires. The study demonstrated a significant effect in reducing the urologic pathology effectiveness of treatment of chronic pyelonephritis. It was found that 76.2 % of chronic pyelonephritis is secondary genesis, in this regard, in 42.3 % of patients fail to achieve remission of the disease. Thus, the need for further study of this issue at the organizational level and the development of measures to improve the effectiveness of treatment of patients with chronic pyelonephritis.
