REGIONAL PART OF THE UNITED STATE INFORMATION SYSTEM IN HEALTHCARE OF THE CHUVASH REPUBLIC

Modern information means in healthcare is the main component to define the field’s efficiency. Introduction of information technologies is socially important for providing the population with available medical services. The regional telemedicine system comprises telemedicine centers (on the base of the Republican institutions) and telemedicine unit, organized in intraregional centers of specialized medical care. A new information resource has been created, it is a united centralized storage of medical images, connected with hospitals’ diagnostic equipment archive facilities and it allows to exchange medical images between all the participants of the therapeutic and diagnostic process 24 hours a day. Standardization of informative technologies is basis of Regional part of the United State Information System in healthcare that will provide the united high standard of quality and availability of medical service.
