COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF MINIMALLY INVASIVE TECHNIQUES IN TREATMENT OF ACUTE SEVERE NON-BILIARY PANCREATITIS

Analysis of cost-effectiveness of mimnimaaly invasive techniques for treatment of patients with acute severe non-biliary pancreatitis was performed. Cost of treatment for patients treated with laparoscopy, bursoomentoscopy and retroperitoneoscopy was compared to cost of treatment for patients treated with open laparotomic and lumbotomic procedures. Minimally invasive techniques reduce cost of operation from 62,8 thousand rubles to 44,3 thousand rubles, cost of staying at in-patient department from 151,3 thousand rubles до 104,2 thousand rubles, cost of medications from 129,5 thousand rubles to 79,6 thousand rubles (due to low need in expensive antimicrobial drug), cost of diagnostic procedures from 46,5 thousand rubles to 33,6 thousand rubles and cost of rehabilitation from 19,4 thousand rubles до 15,5 thousand rubles
