EXPERIENCE OF CONTENT EVALUATION RELATED TO THE WEBSITES OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TRAINING HEALTHCARE MANAGERS

The paper addresses the problem of postgraduate professional training of healthcare managers in higher medical schools and academies of continuing medical education with regard to evaluation of website content of these institutions. Novel scale for quantitative assessment of quality and comprehensiveness of information presented in open access for potential learners was developed and tested on selected electronic resources of various Russian medical education organizations. It was shown that the websites of institutions specialized in postgraduate medical education were much more informative for specialists looking for further training in healthcare management than those of independent higher medical schools and universities’ faculties. Unification of information displayed at their corporate websites for educational organizations and further improvement of web-based information critical assessment for all healthcare managers is suggested.
