HYGIENIC SUBSTANTIATION IMPROVEMENT SYSTEM OF NUTRITIONAL SURVEILLANCE AND THE PREVENTION OF NUTRITION-RELATED DISEASES IN THE NORTHERN REGIONS RUSSIA

The actual nutrition of the adult population of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra is irrational, unbalanced, characterized by inadequate intake of meat and meat products, fish and seafood, milk and dairy products, unsaturated fats in the excessive consumption of saturated fats, bread products, frequent violations of rational diet. Established eating habits combined with climatic and socio-economic living conditions in the northern region determine the features of the formation of nutritional status and development trends of morbidity nutrition-related diseases, which are indicators of unfavorable structure and the negative trend in the dynamics. Results nutrition surveillance population of the territory show divergent trends of indicators of food safety, a sharp increase in areas of responsibility and burden on specialists in nutrition surveillance of the population (food hygiene doctor) in dynamics for 2006- 2013., Accompanied by the growth of nutrition-related morbidity. Reasonable measures to improve the structure and functioning of the regional-oriented nutrition surveillance systems of the population of the northern region: the use of the methodological basis of epidemiological surveillance (public health monitoring), a systematic approach, taking into account regional characteristics of natural and socio-economic environment, inter-agency nature of the system, optimization of quality monitoring and food safety, staffing.
