Special features of endometrium in women suffering a miscarriage with signs of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia (UCTD) have been studied. The patient groups were formed based on the fact of pregnancy loss in past medical history and undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia. Patients with chromosomal abnormalities, antiphospholipid syndrome, female genital abnormalities and male factor were excluded from the research. The fibrin plate method was used for estimating fibrinolytic activity (FA) in the biopsy material collected, magnesium ion concentration being determined through the method of wet combustion in nitric acid with further measurement. The diagnosis of UCTD was verified by using the method of Milkovskaya-Dimitrova and Karkashev. The endometrium in women suffering from a miscarriage and UCTD is characterized by decreased fibrinolytic activity and increased concentration of magnesium ions while these data are not contingent on UCTD manifestation rate. After relevant rehabilitation actions including the treatment with medications containing succinic acid and chondroitin sulfate have been carried out, the magnesium ion concentration in endometrium returns to normal and fertility in women increases: due to additional treatment, pregnancy is by 14,9% more likely to be followed by delivery at term.
