PSYCHOEMOTIONAL DISORDERS ON EPILEPSY AND THEIRS CORRECTION BY TRANSCRANIAL MAGNETIC STIMULATION USING

The article content data of depression and anxiety research on patients with epilepsy. The predictors of that disorders are “spike – slow wave” phenomenon, lateralization of EEG-epileptic focus in left hemisphere, phenomenon “multiple spikes”, female gender, high frequency of seizures before start of rational treatment and focal onset of seizure. Methodics of psychoemotional disorders correction with low-intensity 1 Hz repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation using was proposed. Significant decreasing of depression and anxiety symptoms was observed during two monthes after rTMS course. That fact permits to ground systematic using of rTMS on complex therapy of epilepsy for correction of psychopathological disturbances during interictal period.
