CONSTITUTIONAL FEATURES OF BOYS AND GIRLS FROM ROSTOV-ON-DON

The aim of the research is to study the main anthropometric data of 15-18 years old boys and girls. We performed somatometry of 203 boys and 191 girls from Rostov-on-Don aged from 15 to 18 according to V.V. Bunak methods. The following anthropometric data has been under research: height and weight of body, length of lower limb. On the basis of the data received at the result of the research of boys and girls from Rostov-on-Don, the age and sex differentiations of main anthropometric data have been established: height and weight of body, length of lower limb which may be considered as regional features. Also, the dynamics of the researched indices’ values in the age-specific aspect has been revealed. The information we’ve received during the research will replenish the database of somatometric indices, characterizing the growth and development of Rostov region population in the age-specific aspect.
