In the article we analyse preguency and clinical evaluation existing ways of the diagnostigue perinatal hypoxic-ischemic CNS damage within full-term children in Volgograd region. Also we research the influence of acute asphyxia at birth on the developing cerebral ischemia within mature newborns. Analyzed 156 stories of child development 2009– 2011 year of birth with moderate asphyxia at birth and diagnosed with “Cerebral ischemia”. In term infants, born in the background of asphyxia at birth, significantly more often diagnosed with hypoxic-ischemic CNS damage. However, asphyxia at birth was not the main cause of post-hypoxic encephalopathy in Mature newborn. The study revealed the overdiagnosis of cerebral ischemia in full-term newborns in the Volgograd region, as is not taken into account the whole range of criteria according to the “Classification of perinatal lesions of the nervous system in newborns” (RSPM, 2000).
