The review of scientific studies on an application of intraoperative intraperitoneal hyperthermic chemoperfusion (HIPЕC) during an integrated treatment of malignant neoplasms (MN) relapse and abdominal carcinomatosis was done. An analysis of the related literature shows that the issue of MB relapse and abdominal carcinomatosis is very problematic and topical for clinical oncology at present, despite the numerous existing arsenal of effective therapies. The main factors of emergence and development of MN and abdominal carcinomatosis, as well as ways of pathogenic effects of local hyperthermia, were determined. It was found that when an integrated treatment uses HIPЕC, the cases of intra-and postoperative complications and side effects were not increased, and the use of HIPЕC is a safe and effective method of treatment of MN relapse and abdominal carcinomatosis.
