STATE OF PROOXIDANT AND ANTIOXIDANT BALANCE PARAMETERS IN BLOOD SERUM AND GUMS HOMOGENATE OF WHITE RATS AT EXPERIMENTAL GINGIVITIS AND AT ITS’ CORRECTION

The research results are presented in the article about lipid peroxidation and antioxidant system activity changes in blood serum with rats alveolar bone homogenate at experimental gingivitis when using anti-inflammatory gel with neovityn and rotokan. We found that at experimental gingivitis the lipid peroxidation activity increased and at the same time the level of physiological antioxidant system functioning decreased in parodontal tissues and blood serum. Normalization of lipid peroxidation activity and antioxidant system occurred more often when using anti-inflammatory gel with neovityn.When using a standard treatment rotokanom also the normalization of the physiological activity of the antioxidant system and lipid peroxidation in periodontal tissues and blood serum but to a lesser extent.
