ANALYSIS OF INDICATORS OF DENTAL DISEASE INCIDENCE RATE OF 12-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN IN THE PENZA REGION

The undertaken study is an epidemiological dental examination of 404 pupils at the age of 12 years living in Penza and various regions of the Penza region. Indicators of prevalence, caries intensity, condition of fabrics periodontal tissue, frequency of noncarious defeats of dental tissue and mucosal oral cavity disease are studied. Distinctions in epidemiological indicators of dental health of 12-year-old children from various areas of the Penza region according to results of the inspection were recognized. Special concern is caused by the indicators of the Issinsky area where the high rates of prevalence and intensity of caries are combined with bad oral hygiene, the greatest frequency of noncarious defeats and the smallest quantity of healthy sextants. The results of the conducted research testify a real need of correction of preventive actions taking into account the factors influencing on emergence and development of dental diseases.
