The analysis of medical-social characteristics of the dental patients in the control group by gender showed that among men there were much persons with higher education, while among women there were more students in higher and secondary educational institutions. The analysis of the social status of drug dependent patients seeking dental care, showed a fairly low level of their education. For example, among men the main part had secondary (41,3 %) or secondary special (36,4%) education. Among this group of women prevailed secondary special education (36,5 %); secondary education had 29,3% persons. Analysis of the current observation and questionnaire survey of drug addicts dental patients testify about the negative consequences of the addiction to narcotic substances, as most of them were unable to find a job, in connection with which belonged to the group of the unemployed (by 65.0 %). The drug-dependent patients, the most frequent cause of complications in health status were hepatitis, which reduced the quality of their life. A special problem had patients who inject drugs, which have often cause complications from taking injecting drug use is the development of viral hepatitis C and B. Only one-fourth of the drug addicts of respondents who use intravenous drugs have not been infected with hepatitis while in the control group of patients, this problem was much less prevalent. Consumption of narcotic drugs prevented the carring out the planned activities. The frequency of appearance of collapse and the need for their relief brought significant economic damage to the family and the state. Consumption of narcotic drugs made difficult the socialization in the society, and also reduced the concentration of attention and memory. The obtained results show the need to enhance the preventive work in order to reduce the spread of viral and other infections associated with the consumption of drugs.
