The relevance of the study is a great medical and social significance of myopia, as disease, significantly affecting the social and mental development and formation of the child’s personality, significantly restricts the choice of profession in adolescence, reducing social capacity, causing disability on sight in 27% of cases. The study shows changes in General and primary disease disorders myopia (nearsightedness) in the Amur region during the last of its twentieth anniversary. Are data depending on affiliation (myopes) to different age groups (children, adolescents and adults). The resulting actual material allowed a better view general patterns of morbidity of the Amur region, depending on the short-sightedness of the studied factors, the greatest impact of which has age. Attention is drawn to the growth of the general population incidence of myopia Amur region at a relatively constant primary morbidity of this disease. At the same time, a clear trend to a decrease in the proportion of myopia among the diseases of the eye and its appendages.
